I have had the good fortune to meet and work with both Dawn and Ken. They are honest, reliable, down to earth, and truly take great pride in their business. They gave tremendous consideration and concern around my project, and I truly feel that any other business that I would have hired to do the job would not have yielded the fantastic results I achieved using Nickel Creek. I simply could not be happier with the results of my project. They clearly care about their clients, and I would give them my highest recommendation. You really should call them first. You’ll be more than just satisfied. You’ll be ecstatic! They do fantastic work at a fair and reasonable price. You can shop around, but you will not find nicer people, or a better business for your needs. Top flight!!!

I deliberately set out to find this nursery that I had read about. Mind you, this was in the beginning of summer here, the temp was close to 100– but I wanted to explore our new area, and to find a garden center that had a more interesting focus than the ones at nearby HomeDepot & Friedman’s. So off I drove, north to the Lake Mendocino road & up the hill. I was in for a treat I could see already when I pulled into their gravel lot. A nice old house with a welcoming porch. It won my heart right away with a big bowl of water out on the shaded step for dogs! And a resident dog that came out to greet you. This nursery is laid out like some of my favorites in Berkeley [ the now gone Smith & Hawken on Gilman, and the entrance to Berkeley Hort ; and Buena Creek in San Diego]– with mini-gardens using appropriate plants, and with those plants available on tables nearby. So you can meander around, and feel the beauty of the arrangements. It’s a very clever way to present plants–to give you good ideas of combinations for shade or sun. I felt like I was in a botanic garden. But the heat got to me, there wasn’t much shade, so I didn’t see the whole nursery and I’ve not been back since. But once this rainy business blows over I’d like to go up & see what they have for this season. It’s bound to be beautiful & tempting.

After making the decision to install synthetic lawn, we looked at several choices and found NorCal Easy Green was definitely the nicest product. It feels and looks like real lawn. Dawn came out the same day we contacted her and was extremely knowledgeable about the product. We had a large event planned a couple weeks after we ordered our lawn and crossed our fingers that it would arrive on time. Dawn jumped through some major hoops to ensure that we received our lawn in a timely manner. Even though we installed our lawn ourselves, Dawn and Ken gave us valuable advice on proper installation and care for our new lawn. Our yard looks absolutely beautiful and I could not be happier with the finished product. I would not hesitate to recommend NorCal Easy Green to anyone. They sell a superior product at a fair price and the owners are friendly, honest and very knowledgeable.

We had them install synthetic lawn 4 years ago, Beforehand they answers all my questions and took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the purchase. The install was nicely done. Great decision my “lawn” is beautiful all year round and I sold the lawn mower!

About three people recommended this place to me one day in a meeting. They have a great selection and the people are very helpful and friendly. We had a question about a plant and the books came out and the plant was identified. I wanted to stand on the plastic turf examples, but I was afraid to. Running my fingers through it was fun. Also, don’t go here on a really hot afternoon…I just about died of exposure and there isn’t much shade.
