Q. Are your artificial lawns similar to carpet or astro-turf?
A: No. It’s actually synthetic grass combined with sand and recycled crumb rubber. The fibers are 1.5″ to 2.5″ long depending on the product. A unique blend of rubber crumb and sand is spread over the top of the Synthetic Grass. This anchors the synthetic turf securely in place and makes it look and feel like natural grass.

Q: Will the sand in-fill material blow away?
A: No. The density of our fibers keep the in-fill material securely in place.
Q: Does the long-term effect of the sun harm the synthetic grass or make it fade?
A: No. Our fibers have a UV protection coating and can withstand the damaging affects of the sun, heat, wind, snow, and ice. Our Manufacturer has synthetic putting greens that were installed in 1987 with no visible signs of fading. Technically, the color will fade two Pantone colors over a ten-year period, but it’s really not discernable by eye.
Q: What is the life expectancy of this product?
A: The turf comes with a limited 8-year warranty; actual life expectancy is 15-25 years.
Q: What type of maintenance should I expect?
A: An occasional brooming is recommended but not necessary. This will stand the fibers up and even out the in-fill material. Debris like leaves and twigs can be easily removed with a leaf blower. As long as the leaf blower nozzle is not placed too close to the turf, the sand will stay in place while the debris is blown away.
Q: Can this be installed over my existing lawn?
A: The existing sod must first be removed either by spraying weed kill or removed with a Sod-Cutter, which is available at a rental store. A fine layer of crushed rock is laid down, smoothed and compacted before turf is installed.
Q: What about drainage?
A: The drainage is off the top unless you desire the water to drain underneath the turf. If you want the water to drain below the turf, just be specific when ordering that you want the perforated backing. We also have a drainage blanket product available for complete lateral drainage underneath the turf.
Q: Can I install this myself?
A: Yes, we have Do-It-Yourself kits available with step-by-step instructions. It’s really not difficult. You purchase the sand, and we send the rest. The kit comes with the turf, seam tape, border stakes and an installation broom, you can purchase the silica sand at almost any hardware store.
Q: Can pets harm it?
A. No. We even sell this material strictly for dog runs. Urine is not a problem as it absorbs into the sand and eventually evaporates. Other messes clean up the same as natural grass, using a pooper scooper or shovel. You may also spray the soiled area with a hose then simply brush the turf back into place.
Q: Is it affordable?
A: When comparing with installing a sprinkler, top soil, and the price of sod, combined with watering, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, YES, it can pay for itself in a couple of years. You can minimize your investment if you include rock with your synthetic grass. The contrast of rock with your grass looks fantastic! We suggest installing our synthetic grass inside a landscape-edging border. Bend the edging to give it rounded corners. The rock can be placed outside the edging using a variety of different colors & sizes.

I am excited about our new site, We have alot more work to get everything the way we want it, But we are headed in the right direction. Please if any of you, have any coment or thought to help the sight move along, please let us know,
Say, I almost forgot, it is time to get those bulbs in for spring, I think it is better to get them in before it gets really cold. But the important thing is, that they are in the ground or in a very cold location. So, By spring they can be at there best!
